Karana

Half of a tithi is Karana, which is meant producing, performing and creating. The karma we will create in this life. There are thirty tithis and sixty karanas. There are eleven types of karanas, which contains four fixed (Shakuni, Chatuspada, Naga and Kintughna) and seven movable.

Nodes move to new signs on November 2009
